The happiness when your birthday is celebrated in surprising ways…
Staying true to the saying ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
Managing to laugh off emotions of anger, jealousy & greed…
Of aversion to enter the lecture halls,
Of affection to spend days in theatres & malls…
Of being consumed by the mysterious examination fever,
Of reading the 1st question & losing hope of passing the exam ever…
Having moments of boredom & finding someone to break it,
Having spurts of rage & wanting your best friend to just sit & take it…
The truths & dares & silly little games,
The shock when the college gossip includes your names…
The sorrows of saying goodbye & au revoir,
The promises of being close even if gone afar…
Wish I could get those days back by reversing time,
But Alas! All I can do is make this rhyme…
Be it any day under the cloud, rain or sun,
